Ideas and theses of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev that were announced during a conference with representatives of the clergy of Uzbekistan, aroused keen interest abroad. This was largely contributed by the wide dissemination of the speech in Arabic and English among authoritative scientific, academic, and expert-analytical circles.
On August 18, the head of our state began his trip to the city of Bekabad with a familiarization visit to "Uzbek metallurgical combine" JSC.
On August 17, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan Saken Jasuzakov, who is in our country on an official visit.
Starting from 1 January 2019, Uzbekistan is set to introduce a biometric passport for travel abroad. A sticker registration order is set to be abolished on the same day. These measures are stipulated in the presidential decree "On measures on radical improvement of the order of departure of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated August 16, 2017.
Today, on August 16, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, during his working trip to the Kyrgyz Republic met with President Almazbek Atambayev.
