In Bonn, it took place a ceremony dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized by the diplomatic missions of our country in Germany together with the German-Uzbek Friendship Society.
It was attended by representatives of political, academic and business circles of the federal states of North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Hesse, the Uzbek diaspora in these regions, as well as the delegation of Bukhara region, is on a visit to Germany.
Opening the event, President of the German-Uzbek Friendship Society V.Bauer told the audience about the history and modern development of Uzbekistan, the friendly relations between our two nations, and the role of the friendship society in the development of bilateral relations, in particular, the partnership between Bonn and Bukhara,.
Speakers acquainted the participants with the history of the development, adoption and content of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, it was noted that the Basic Law was the foundation for the comprehensive development of the country, a solid basis of national legislation.
It was emphasized that the Concept of further deepening democratic reforms and formation of civil society, developed by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, became the basis for the continuation of large-scale reforms in the country and has opened up new opportunities for sustainable development.
The representative of delegation of the Bukhara region O.Ruzieva noted in her speech that the current development of the country and the creation of the country's appropriate legal framework for the expansion of international contacts provided an opportunity to establish bilateral partnerships with foreign countries, including, between the cities of Bukhara and Bonn. In this framework, for more than 10 years, has a range of social and educational projects aimed at improving the welfare of the Uzbek people.
According to IA "Jahon", Vice-President of the German-Uzbek Friendship Society H.Byuler noted that had the opportunity to take part in the international conference organized by the Legislative Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on "high legal and cultural basis of a democratic society", held in Tashkent on 14-15 November.
Sharing his impressions of participation, he said that, as a lawyer and former special envoy named Konrad Adenauer Foundation of Central Asia, Iran and the Caucasus, closely watched the developments in our country large-scale reforms in various fields. According to his view, the ceremony that was held in Tashkent on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Basic Law provided an opportunity for participants to make sure that Uzbekistan has really achieved a great success during a historically short period of independence.
Sincerely congratulating the Uzbek people on the anniversary date, he expressed his readiness to take an active part in further activities related to the processes of liberalization and improvement of the legal and regulatory areas of Uzbekistan.
